So this coming Labor Day I will find myself for 4 days in Paris. My question is: has any one traveled to and from the city of Paris to Disneyland Paris, and if so do they have details? Any help will be great so I can gauge whether or not It is worth the time. Thanks!

He's not wrong. There is a train station (connected to the Euro Tunnel and one of the main stations in Paris) right at the park entrance. This is a 2 minute walk from the bus stops to the hotels or a 5 minute walk to either park entrance or Disney Village.

There is also a bus service which runs from the airport and I image there are similar services from various places around Paris.

I've used both and I don't remember how long the journey was but I know they weren't too long. A quick look on google maps should give you an idea or travel time.

I say it's definetely worth the time. As long as you get there early and plan to leave at closing you should get a good number of attractions in. Unless your really keen on seeing crushes coater or ToT I would stay clear of the Studios and concentrate on just the one park

The park is due east of the city, and I confess that I don't know the easy route from there.

Like the other posters, I've made my connection at CDG airport and you either walk across from the domestic arrival gates on 2A, for the busses (clearly decaled with Disney) or you walk down to the center of the terminal where the train station is.

I'm sure the concierge at your hotel can direct you to the proper train from the city.

The best way to tavel from the city of Paris to Disneyland is by subway (metro).

This link will direct you to the website of the france subway system:

http://www.paris.org/Metro/

You can buy a return ticket from the city center of Paris to Marne la Valle station. This station is on Disney property less than 5 minutes walk to the entrance of both Disney parks.

It is worth the travel if you go early and stay a full day. You probably will not be able to do all the attractions but if you plan a little you can still do a llot of them.

We live in the Netherlands and have traveled from the city of Paris to Disneyland a couple of times.

Just be very aware of your valuables on the subway. Not all people are nice.

The subway will take you from the city to Disneyland in about 45 minutes.

Have an nice time in Paris!!

Thank you for all your help every one.

The subway idea sounds great, the length is about the same as my subway commute here in New York City, so I'm none to nervous about that!

Thanks again!

From Paris take the RER A Towards "Marne-La Vallee/Parcs Disneyland". It's 6,30 Euros One Way Ticket. Remember to save your ticket stub because unlike the regular Metro trains the RER trains require you to scan the ticket upon exiting. (Think NYC Subway versus Washington DC Metro). As stated before, the trip takes about 45 minutes dependent on whether it makes all those stops at the pesky "Noisy" stations.

From subway lines transfer to the RER A at Chatelet/Les Halles, Gare de Lyon, or Nation stations.

If traveling directly from Charles de Gaulle airport you can catch the TGV train which arrives at Disney in a mere 12 minutes. It's a pricier option though as tickets can go as high as $40. I do not recommend taking the RER from CDG to DLP. I did so on my last trip and it took close to 2 hours arrive at DLP.

If you have never been to DLP it's definitely worth your time to check it out. Have a great trip!

I got sooooo lost in this airport! It is very confusing. I had to change planes, not airlines. Once we landed I had to walk outside to a bus, travel around the airport and then enter at another gate site. My flight was late and I was going to have a short connection anyway and I missed it.. It was scary as well because there was a drug bust going on, lot's of drug sniffing dogs with people pinned to the walls and police. I am sure that even with the best of directions now I would still get lost in that place. We ( I met my sister in Italy and we traveld for two weeks and she came home with me) flew thru again on our way home and still managed to have a problem, couldn't find passport control and stood in a very long line and missed the flight for home. I will not fly thru there again if I can help it, I may fly in and stay but not thru.

Exactly, you're right. If you are at Montparnasse, take subway line 4 to "Les Halles" and after, take RER A to Marne la Vallée Chessy. Have a great time to Disneyland Resort Paris.:).

My game plan:

I land at 7am on a Thursday in Paris. I might just take Disney transit from the airport to the park (is their free transportation, or does this cost $. any answers will help).

I'll spend all day Thursday at the Disneyland park (no real need to go to the Studios), stay at one of the resort hotels that night, then wake up and head into the city of Paris for the remainder of the trip.

Any thoughts on this plan?

Sounds like a good plan to me. I recommend picking a hotel within walking distance of the park. If money is no object then go to the DisneyLand Hotel (even if you don't stay there you should take a walk between the wings of the hotel just to see the view of the castle at night). Otherwise I recommend the sequoia lodge and I've heard good things about Newport Bay.
