Yeah it’s a $400 difference between tier 3 and tier 2 (tier 1 being the socal one). I’d be looking at over $4000 for my family of 3 plus infant. And In this economy? lol

For Disneyland - Halloween and Christmas are usually very busy. I’m guessing this will become a yearly thing.

Its all about per capita spending at the parks.

Only if that Magic Key is on sale typically, and unfortunately it’s extremely unlikely it will be in October (MK sales have never been open in October.)

Renewal eligibility is only within 30 days of your renew date. So if you renewal is in April then no you will not be able to renew in October.

Once you are renewal eligible though you should be able to "upgrade" to any tier from a lower tier.

Correct. I deleted my post. I guess I didn’t really read his entire post and assumed he was up for renewal in October. Yeah he would only be able to upgrade in April or if they happen to be on sale in October which is highly unlikely.

Maybe in the past. They don’t make exceptions for just about anything anymore and it’s been like this for at least 5+ years.

They won’t even give me a physical pass - so you’re probably right. But I would always ask just to see.

After buying the Costco deal for 450 (3 days park hopper, 3 days LL, dining credit), I called and asked if we could upgrade to magic keys IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE at the time we use them. Rep said yes. Hoping Enchants will come back by December when we plan on going

They usually come back in January (sometimes November) just make sure you leave one day unused so you can upgrade when the keys become available. How many days do you have to use the 3 day ticket and when do they expire?
