Its the one with the most blackout dates, so I assume it wasn't that attractive an offer for most locals.Wonder how long the new tier of releases will last, or if it's still going to be twice a year given how long Enchant was available. Actually i'm shocked the cheapest option took the longest to sell out.

Isn't Imagine the cheapest with most blackouts? I can see Enchant being in the middle ground (expensive but still with significant blackouts) as a reason why it remained for sale for so long. Its the one with the most blackout dates, so I assume it wasn't that attractive an offer for most locals.

So got a survey on Magic Keys from DL recently, specifically on if I planed to renew. Seems they are having some retention issues.
I have to assume we're near the point where they'll drop reservations, as that's the biggest problem from my view. I tend to have good availability but my girlfriend, who has a Believe key, is blocked out more often than not and you have to plan out trips weeks in advance. Given those passes lasted a lot longer than the Inspire, I don't think this is a "cost of pass" issue so much as a value issue, as more and more people are finding the hoops not worth the hassle. So got a survey on Magic Keys from DL recently, specifically on if I planed to renew. DL MK are more expensive then WDW APs…I just got back from my first vacation using MK and it's great to have an annual pass for out of state for a reasonable price. DL in general just feels like a better destination than WDW to me at this point, no 30 minute transits to get to most places. I think I'll likely be renewing my pass, just so glad they offer the 2nd lowest tier to out of state.
Looking at all passes yes but for out of state passholders there are less expensive options at DL with only 1 option at WDW. Lowest option at DL is Enchantment Key @ 974 total (no tax) and the Believe key 1374.00 . WDW only option is the Incredi-Pass @1549.00 plus tax-total 1649.69 vs DL Inspire Key @ 1749.00. WDW if you want photopass its a 99.00 add on included with Inspire Key. So that puts it pretty much equal with DL price point for the top pass for an out of state visitor.DL MK are more expensive then WDW APs…
Even in winter they have ticket deals now. Seems their pricing isn't working out for full priced tickets in Summer/Winter which would be a good chance to either adjust day ticket pricing or lower APs.I question Disney’s tactics when it comes to the aggressive summer blackout calendar on the nearly $1,000 Enchant Keys. Especially when summers have consistently been the least busy season the last 5+ years. We’re blocked out from June 5th to August 5th. It’s no secret that they offer some of these summer or holiday 3 day ticket deals to entice blocked out passholders but for the pretty much the same price instead of purchasing those or upgrading to the next Key up we were able to go to Legoland for two days and just purchased Universal Studios APs that aren’t blocked out the whole summer. Paying the same amount for varied experiences instead of more access to the same place sounds like a no brainer to me. Especially when one of those varied experiences is right down the street.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Enchant Keys were the last pass to sell out. For $1,000 they should at least have some Summer weekdays available.
