News Disneyland Hotels Announce New Concierge Lounges, Themed Suites, and Napa Rose Renovation

The few times I looked into going I wasn’t crazy about the menu but I’m sure at least one of those times was before Covid. Steakhouse 55 was more my style if I was looking for a nice meal. I still don’t understand why the DL hotel doesn’t have one signature restaurant. A cafe. Somewhere to sit down and get a turkey club and fries. Anything.

what do you mean by signature? I totally agree it's lacking that high-end Napa Rose/Carthay level dining option, but you can definitely find a place to sit down and have a tasty light meal. I've been pleased with the few bites I've had from Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sam's

It does seem like a mid-century modern steakhouse leaning into the 1950s of it all would be a great addition to the fine dining offerings at the resort, even if it was relatively small and exclusive to start.

For me, the Club 33 waiting list definitely demonstrates how much demand exists for people wanting a premium, uniquely Disneyland experience

Wow interesting timing haha. I just got back last night from my first stay at the Disneyland Hotel in 11 years. When I wrote the post you replied to Palm Breeze Bar nor Broken Spell Lounge IIRC were open yet. So it was pretty much Tangaroa, Goofys Kitchen, the coffee shop and room service as your options. Which did not cut it.

Yes I meant a nice, high end sit down restaurant and I still think it could use that. They should just bring back Steakhouse 55.

EDIT: Palm Breeze was open

I'm bummed that I won't be able to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner in there once again, but I suppose this is good for my wallet.
