The few times I looked into going I wasn’t crazy about the menu but I’m sure at least one of those times was before Covid. Steakhouse 55 was more my style if I was looking for a nice meal. I still don’t understand why the DL hotel doesn’t have one signature restaurant. A cafe. Somewhere to sit down and get a turkey club and fries. Anything.
what do you mean by signature? I totally agree it's lacking that high-end Napa Rose/Carthay level dining option, but you can definitely find a place to sit down and have a tasty light meal. I've been pleased with the few bites I've had from Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sam's
It does seem like a mid-century modern steakhouse leaning into the 1950s of it all would be a great addition to the fine dining offerings at the resort, even if it was relatively small and exclusive to start.
For me, the Club 33 waiting list definitely demonstrates how much demand exists for people wanting a premium, uniquely Disneyland experience
