I signed up for just the 5K and 10K. Are you staying at one of the resorts or one of the good neighbor ones?
We need to do a meet up. I'm there for a week.

I will be staying on Katella someplace nearby. Very quick weekend. Looking forward to running again out West.
I'm at Pixar - Tuesday to Tuesday.

5k and Challenge sold out in less than an hour.
10k was next
Half took about two hours.
I'm actually surprised it took that long. If you were sitting beside your computer and did not have wi-fi issues you got in.

Nope. Flying. 3 times in one year.
To Barcelona for my May cruise
To Vancouver for my July Alaska cruise
To Santa Ana for the DLR race
I'll survive.
Not surprised. A 2nd race weekend at DLR with a new theme.
Wasn't the Avengers weekend around this time?

January races sold out in half the time except for 5k/10k which sold out in about the same time.
The Original Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend was held on Labor Day Weekend this race weekend is one week after. Super Hero Weekend was in November

I would assume fairly similar. I think the “longer” sellout times were mostly due to time of year and less of a rush to be “first” when it came to the return of runDisney.

I really hope they figure out their character issues before this race.

There might be other issues down the road as costume and face character are currently voting to go Union for higher wages and other demands. RunDisney has to pay for the characters for their appearances

My issues are different. If you actually offer unique characters, then maybe you should have them available to most runners instead of a quarter of the runners.
