I don't know why a major and iconic characters like C-3P0 is being relegated to an upcharge event like this?

I guess that Meet and Greet budget is relegated to resident crazy Resistance lady, Wii Magnavoxi.

Lots of guests in silly 80s getups who weren't even alive in the 80s (or 90s)?

Eh, I don't think that's very weird. It's really just a form of cosplay in my mind, people like the aesthetic and want to dress up for the event they're paying to go to and have fun and "match" the theme of the night. Doesn't matter if they were alive in the 80's.
