Had to check Ebay. Lol, I don't think that's the castle.

At that price what a steal though! Less than the price of admission to Disneyland! Not to mention the key that’s $60 + you saved money on all the snacks and other souvenirs you would have bought. Plus the pain and suffering avoided from traffic, crowds and queues. Seriously whoever purchases that pin should tip the seller $50.

Yes, but the snacks and experiences in most cases are worth the trip and expense. YMMV ;)

I just want to say that when I saw the scepters at Efteling, I immediately thought to myself, "wow, Disfluencers/Disney Adults would RUIN something like this....."

....I was unfortunately correct šŸ˜• šŸ˜”

Thanks for this! I'm not seeing on my Costco app for San Diego!! May have to make a trip to see for myself..
If you do a normal search in the app it doesn't show up, but if you specifically check warehouse inventory it should appear.

Yes the Key thing looks really repetitive so we’ll probably pass but I think I’ll finally give in and buy one Magic Band for my son. Those little Fantasyland windows did the trick. Very charming. And at least the magic band serves multiple purposes. I do like the sound effects on that key though. Years ago on these boards and Micechat I complained about how none of the merch showcased the sounds of Disneyland. A lot has changed since then.
I just got back from my DLR 70th anniversary trip. I didn't do the Key thing either due to only having so much storage space on the flight back for that huge key. Plus it was my first trip. I wasn't going to spend my time standing in line around the park to turn a key. I did partake of the MB scanning though. Hardly anyone participated in that. And I got five tickets from it. (One on Main Street, three in Frontierland, and one in Adventureland. Note that there are three scanners in Fantasyland that put on little shows but give out no tickets. The one in Tomorrowland currently doesn't work.) Here's a photo of my loot from WDW-Epic-Disneyland. The tickets are in the bottom right.

Nice haul! I like that Mickey shirt. Ya know, I used to avoid purchasing any anni merchandise always preferring more classic stuff. But now as the years roll by and I’ve seen quite a few of these anniversaries I find myself wishing that I bought at least a couple items from each one as a little momento. Of course as I say that the only thing I bought on my last trip was a White trucker hat that doesn't even say 70 on it.

Yeah. Classic Mickey with "Disneyland 70". Can't go wrong with that. All other shirts were the DL pink/blue colors. No thanks. So I limited to mostly smaller items. The largest were the steel tumbler and the Laughing Lava tiki mug from Trader Sam's which I carried in my backpack. Many people were scooping up the formal Mickey popcorn bucket but, again, too large for me to take home. I'll live.

Go for something from the vintage / opening day collection. Such cool stuff!

I did. My first time ever seeing it. I liked it. I know there is another thread comparing it with prior versions. I wouldn't know. I thought the floats were beautiful and the main tune combined with Baroque Hoedown was neat. My primary nit is there were large gaps between several of the floats.

Yeah I’m going to pass on the Mickey bucket but the Harold sipper is coming home. Bonus points for being classic Harold. Too bad he doesn’t do his classic roar at least not as far as I know. On the somewhat rare occasion I purchase a popcorn bucket or sipper, I find myself going for the sippers. I prefer the more compact size and they re usually more detailed.

I do like the color scheme on the below hoodie but wish the letters were smaller and that it didn’t say the dreaded ā€œResort.ā€ Material quality and color are nice too.

The large gaps irk me too.

I think they do that at DL because there are several guest flow pinch points throughout the parade route and the gaps allow a crossing period across the route to help with guest flow. Still sucks to see the gaps though.
