In celebration of Disneyland's 50th anniversary, Buena Vista Home Entertainment introduces four outstanding new DVD releases that capture the spirit of the world-famous "happiest place on earth." Due on July 17th are Disneyland: The Secrets, Stories and Magic of the Happiest Place on Earth and Vintage Mickey. The "Disneyland" disc will feature a feature-length behind-the-scenes look at the theme park. Also included on the disc will be the "Disneyland That Never Was," showing the many amazing alternate park ideas and designs, a trivia game, sing-along songs and more. "Vintage Mickey" is a feature-length compilation of Mickey's best black & white appearances, including "Steamboat Willie," "Mickey?s Review" and many more. Retail is $19.99 each.

The article said four new DVDs.. Only two were named.. What are the other two? And will these DVDs be released to the general public or only in Disneyland?

Wow, the Disneyland DVD sounds great.

They always sell the latest DVD set at the Disneyana shop on Main Street at Disneyland, so you can be sure to get them there this summer. I've picked up these DVD sets at Best Buy before too, but those types of stores never seem to have more than a dozen or so sets sent to each store and then they are "sold out". I've found these DVD sets for sale at Disneyana months after all the local Best Buy's and megastores have "sold out".

With all of the amazing merchandise reportedly coming to Disneyland this summer, plus nationwide releases like these DVD's, it looks like I may need to apply for a new credit card just for the 50th.

I'm psyched for that Disneyland DVD! On my college program, my roommate and I used to watch the old Disneyland USA DVD over and over and over... :p

Yea I got very excited about that Disneyland DVD. I have been unsuccessful in finding anything like this in the past so finally I know something will be coming out. If anyone knows of any Disneyland/World "documentary" sort of films either available online or to purchase please let me know:slurp:
