Disney World's 40th

What do you all think would be in store with the 40th anniversary? I mean all the parks, The fantasy land expansion... duh. I am thinking maybe Epcot will get some glory and maybe a new illuminations. I just hope that the castle isn't dressed like a giant birthday cake.

Magic Kingdom-special shows and fireworks and decorations
EPCOT-bring back tapestry of nations
Hollywood Studios- make the actors do a lot more throughout the day
Animal Kingdom-special interactive experiences

OH GOD PLEASE NO!!!! We went on our first wedding aniverary fifteen years ago and this monstrosity was there to greet us. This was the first time my wife had seen the castle and I kept telling her "no...really...it looks much better the other way." Lets just all hope that the cake props have been destroyed or re-tasked and lost to the ages.

Epcot- Tarps down, SSE decent finished, new Soarin' film
DHS- ST2 (obviously), BAH moved, announcement of Pixar expansion
AK- E:E refurb complete, announcement of new land

Forty extra dollars charged on every ticket for the entire year. It will be their little way of collecting anniversary gifts from all of their tourist friends.

My 2nd trip was the 25th Birthday of Disney World. Looking back the cake decorations were extreme, but it was cool at the same time. Very colorful for sure!!!!

Just wish they were anything close to what we will probably end up getting.

I don't think they are too much to ask for. A few aesthetic changes and a couple of announcements about future plans. I'd be VERY happy with that.

I think Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are great the way they are
Epcot: could use another Future World refurbishment, Replace the entire order scene in illuminations, finish Spaceship Earth, New Soarin film, finish Spaceship Earth, Gut innoventions down the buildings and keep the Fountain and start all over again, Fixing the Fountain of Nations would be nice but I think they are on top of that little by little, Kodak is leaving so maybe imagination will get an overhaul (wishful thinking)
Hollywood Studios: Remove the hat, change Fantasmic, and add some more well needed attractions and make the park big enough to fill a whole day.
