I totally agree....add that to his statement that "logic is not permitted" makes this entire thread a farce. How can someone vote if logic is not permitted? I guess close your eyes, point out your finger and whichever choice it lands on is your vote--yes a totally inaccurate and ridiculous survey. I guess he's saying that smokers can't be logical? Hmmmm....

Yup, you are right....just another thread to try to cause hate posts, which will be locked and eventually deleted.

Just like the COUNTLESS wand threads. I mean, eventually enough is enough. People can only be pushed so far AND it's exceedingly boring. :brick:

I assume he was being sarcastic; I think it would be difficult, and ultimately detrimental to their business overall if WDW went entirely smoke free. If it goes smoke free, will more non-smokers go? Probably not, it's not like a bar where you're inundated by fumes. If it goes smoke free will fewer smokers go? Almost certainly.

Bad business sense means it won't happen.

I think it outrageous when parents drink alcohol in front of their kids as well, so maybe WDW should ban alcohol sales? After all some people get drunk and place their families in immediate danger (driving, fighting, staggering, yelling). If ones goes then so should the other, IMHO. Afterall, aren't we all just waiting to have all our freedoms taken away? Now, lock the thread.

It seems to me that this thread and poll was designed only to start yet another heated discussion about this subject.

It also seems to me that the OP is trying to goad other posters into arguements to prove his point (whatever that is).

So far it hasn't worked and I hope this continues.

Add my vote to Jimmy Thick free.

haha
couldn't have said it better myself :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL:

Nor could I! LOL LOL LOL

Who is trying to turn this into an argument? The OP hasn't criticized anyone that I saw yet many people are going after him...

Well, I'm not sure if you read the original post but it's an attack on smokers. He is asking people to VOTE to show Disney what "we" want. So I'm sorry to say that we disagree here--he is "going after" a group of people...many people I'm sorry to say, which is going to result in major flaming.

Can't vote; no choice for 'In designated areas only'. I'm a non-smoker and do not condone smoking but nor do I condemn smoking either.

I understand no smoking in the rooms, balconies and restaurants. But, please to tell you not to smoke outside away from people please. We breathe in other crap all day. I have been behind disney buses more than once and they are not healthy either. Pretty soon they will tell you, you can't smoke outside in DTD or is this also another place we can't smoke. I am a smoker but I would never try to offend anyone. My children hate it so I basically have rules that I follow. The last time I was at disney was 2004. Back then I never even smoked in the room. But the pool area away from everyone was my peace and quiet time. But you know, if you love Disney you will have to follow the rules.
