Disney World needs major updating

Your so right re fireworks, we’ve done that , it’s brilliant, sorry I don’t mean to moan, we love WDW, try and go each year, so my requests to change the park are a little unfair, especially when I read that Disney actually expects people to visit every 3-5 years , but we love it sooo much, it’s a hard drug to give up , we love the Disney bubble , have a DCL in November, stay for 2 nights at contemporary ( which is a real bucket list stay) cos it’s only 2 night I think we may go the extra stretch. Thanks for reply 👍
It's OKto vent lol! It's a really exepnsive thing to do so really frustrating when it's not perfect.

I'm from UK too, went this time last year (Riverside), got a cheaper and shorter stay in All Star Sports this November to save the pennies and planning a blow-out one for 2027 when I'm thinking of early retirement! Contemporary and Polynesian used to be my bucket lists due to iconic-ness but they're really out of reach now, so more realistic ones would be any of the EPCOT resorts, especially since EPCOT is my nbr 1. Even my two favourites, Riverside and Fremch Quarter, have shot up in price since last year, to what I would consider low deluxe prices.

Yeah sorry barnstormer is an unfair example, it’s prob because when we came off Tron , we headed over for our GP big thunder, we were looking forward to sitting at the front, as never experienced that before , but won’t do that again , it’s really no fun at all .
Back is where it's at.....

Agree - not only rides - since Iger took over, the parks and the resorts are not maintained as they once were. We've seen CMs arguing in a store. The food is now Golden Corral level unless you book a Signature experience. My husband and I brought 2 of our grandchildren in November and we're taking the other two grands in May. This will likely be our last Disney trip. My husband and I have been going first with our families of origin in the early 1970s, then as a couple, next with our children and now taking our grandchildren. We've seen Disney through a single park to its golden age under Michael Eisner. Easy to understand why people accept Disney as it is now if they did not visit Disney World when Eisner was at the helm. It truly was a magical place where guests were #1.
Your story is our story and your feelings mirror ours. Our final trip with the grandkids was 2019. Have posted this before
