But to confirm- you get to register early-You still need to pay the registration fee in addition to the fee associated with your membership, correct?
Yes. The membership fee for runDisney is a separate expense from race registrations.
Anyone interested in becoming a Club member, registration for new members should open up in the next month or so. Only Gold and Platinum members get early registration for races - 1 race for Gold, 2 races for Platinum members. Those two membership levels are guaranteed a bib, provided registration is done during the period in the email.
Watching the cluster that has been general registration lately, I'm glad I signed up when first offered back during Princess Weekend in 2020.
Now if only rD would bring back Race Retreat...and not that crummy Runner's Square or whatever it was called. Miss the tent. And chocolate milk.

Just so in your face character driven!! I say it everytime, but I prefer the older medals that carried with them just an essence of a character and were more regal in nature. Haha I don’t even know if that makes sense!

I wanted to do the 10k for the theme, and I wish I'd stuck with that. That medal is SO MUCH BETTER than the one for the half

I get what you’re saying. Lately the race itself seems like an afterthought for the medal. “Half marathon” for example is very tiny.
I don’t mine color and having fun with these but at the same time the medal quality has suffered because of it.
