I've got cash rooms for both W&D and Marathon weekends. And wait-lists also. Just booked DVC for Princess.

Little was available for the week I anticipated would be an in person W&D when I looked several months ago. Between F&W and 50th, even cash rooms are getting scarce.

Already had DVC for Marathon. Just booked Disney Springs hotel for W&D. Nothing value or moderate available. Maybe some rooms will open up when people don't get a bib.

That’s what I was thinking. Same villains, they have been rearranged. Evil Queen was the Half, Ursula was the 10K, Yzma was the 5K, Oggie was the challenge, and hook was the kids. Probably different designs since they have been rearranged.

Now Evil Queen is 5K
Oggie is the 10K
Yzma is the Half
Ursula is the challenge

Hmm. Sounds like they are setting things up to do a series, so eventually you’d have an Evil Queen 5K, 10K, Half and challenge, ditto Ursula, etc.

Tell me about it. I still think the SSE medal with the dangle charms is the best. I like villains, but don’t really see how they fit, besides the race weekend being in the fall and coinciding just after Halloween. To think they used to have a Christmas 5K with this weekend.

Dang! I got mine down to like 2:05:00 recently and was hoping that would avoid me being in the sea of self-estimated walkers that report low to build in a buffer from getting swept, I don’t see myself flirting with anything sub-2:00:00 until it cools down, at which point it will be too late to update registration.

So here is where I am in terms of this race weekend (will be doing a post for every weekend).

I am very happy to see they have added a virtual option. For Wine & Dine 2021, I missed it out the Oggie medal last year. Which I regret so I think I definitely am going to be signing up for the 10K. I am disappointed to see they took away the no shirt option for virtual. This unfortunately, changes how many events I can register for given the price.

As it stands now, I am in for the 10K if their are any other designs I like though. This could change.

Unfortunately, for 2021 in person is out of the question for me. However, 2022 is a definite possibility.

I’m worried that they aren’t going to take any proof of times greater than two hours even if you want to submit one. Although, I noticed that the geniuses putting their website together used a “greater than 2 hour half marathon” result as their example!
