Disney Visa - redeeming points?

Hi everyone!

So I'm about to apply for a Disney Visa card (as if I wasn't involved with Disney enough, now I'm going to have their cc). I'm wondering if there is anyone who can explain the way you can redeem points. It seems like whatever I read, it doesn't answer my questions.
Does 1 pt = $1?
And where can I use these points in WDW? Can they be used towards a resort or for park tickets?

Actually, when earning the points, $100 = 1 point. When REDEEMING the points (from the Disney Reward Card) 1 point = $1. These can be used anywhere in WDW or at Disney Stores, and at Disney.com, just like cash or Disney Dollars. When transferring rewards points TO your Disney Reward Card, you must start with a minimum of 20 points ($20), and can add in any amount of at least 10 points ($10). Be sure not to transfer more 'points' than you will use, as Disney Reward Cards do expire, usually before the points do.

That is true, but if you are like us you get your Rewards Card and head to WDW and spend it all before you leave :ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

There is a listing of all the places that accept the Disney Rewards at WDW right on the Chase Disney Visa site. It would under the rewards program. We used our Rewards card this past Dec without an incident and it covered most of our meals for the week - okay, we have a business so I run up a lot of reward points; rather handy I can't think of one place that we couldn't use it. Not only do you earn points but you get an interest break on your WDW vacation purchases, special face time with the characters at EPCOT - all listed on the rewards site.
