Can anyone tell me more about this? I am currently a Disney Visa card holder... Do I still have to wait in line? Planning on using it at the Epcot M&G.

Thanks

You don't spend more than a few minutes interacting with the characters and taking pictures so even then, the wait shouldn't be too terrible, but it just depends how many groups are waiting at the time. In my experiences, opening and closing are more backed up than in between.

You used to get a voucher to pick up a 5x7 print for free, but I believe it's just a download now.

The line can be very short, just check as your going by the area. If its too long come back later. It is a nice M&G because you get more than one together. We had Mickey & Goofy, and the pictures are great. One thing I noticed is that you can't edit these pictures or add stickers and boarders and such the way you can on the other memory maker pictures. Still worth it though, especially if you don't plan to buy Memory Maker- the photo for this M&G is free.

When weve gone there hasnt been a huge line or much of a wait. I'm assuming many Disney Visa card owners dont think about that perk that comes with being a card holder. But having less of a line than a normal M&G and having the availability of multiple characters, its a great benefit to use ....as long as you remember its there.

Their photo area is really cute and looks great in the pictures. There has always been 2 characters which rotate and seem random but its some combo of mickey, minnie, pluto and goofy in their classic clothing. We have found the line to be a bit unpredictable in wait times. I loved it when they gave you a free photo but since now its just a download and we always have the photopass anyways, we don't tend to wait to meet here anymore and just use fastpass to meet at the character spot

We have done this several times and the wait has always been pretty short. Like others have said, it's nice to get two characters in the same photo.

Hmmm I wonder if that's a long line? I think I'll just stick with my FP for it then.

It is different from the regular character spot where you get one character at a time. I have been twice. Once the line was short and we got a great picture with Micky and Pluto. The other time it was very long and I skipped it.

Thanks for the info. Is it not in the same spot as the other M&G?

Thanks! The one in Epcot looks like it's not far from, maybe in the same building as, the "regular" one that we did last time, and waited in line almost an hour for. Rats! We could have gone over to this one!

I don't know if this is a recent change, but the Visa character spot isn't open until 1PM -- I'm pretty sure it was open earlier when we were down there for Wine & Dine race weekend (before it relocated to the Imagination pavilion). (I also asked three separate CMs where the location was, since I wasn't aware it had moved, and none of them told me it wasn't open yet while helpfully pointing me in the right direction at 11AM).

It's also in a particularly inaccessible spot at the moment since the walkway through the gardens north of the Refreshment Port is currently closed off due to (I think?) Food & Wine related construction.

I don't think I have ever seen more than 1 family in front of me and I usually go in the summer. But since it's usually 1 room the wait can be like 10 minutes per guest. And as noted you usually get multiple top line characters all in 1 spot.
