Has anyone redeemed their points yet? Our points are accumulating slowly but surely, we have a trip planned for June, just wondering what others have done with thier points.

There should be a website to sign up for online access to your account. It should be listed somewhere on your statement materials.

Once signed up, there should be something called Current Offers with what's available for Disney Visa owners.

Currently, the only thing I have available is booking Value Resorts for $79 a night. It must be booked by 2-11 and is good for travel dates between 2-12 and 4-17.

I have redeemed my points and used them on PAL Mickey. I charge EVERYTHING on the card so I can get the credit for my trips to WDW.

Once you get the card, to add more of your reward dollars to it, you just have to call or logon and they transfer immediately. You use the same card for a period of time. Replacement cards are not free.

Well my husband is the primary on the account becasue I don't work, but I finally got him to order the points card! So hopefully we can see what we might be able to use it for. How many points did you use for your PAL mickey and how big was the discount? We too use our card for everything. I think by our trip in June we should have about 100 pts or so. Maybe more if we put everyones AP's on the card and pay them off as we buy them! Hmm, just thought of that one! There are going to be 12 in our party so thats alot of AP's to buy! That equals alot of points!

Basically, each point you earn is worth a dollar. It isn't a discount, instead it's basically cash back on the money you spend on your Visa card. When we left for our trip a few weeks ago I ordered a rewards card with our reward dollars on it. If you have 50 reward dollars on your card, you can buy $50 worth of merchandise at Disney.

Yep 1 point = $1.

I'm telling you, every bill I get I have automatically sent to the VISA, and then I pay the VISA bill when it comes in. Your gasoline, electric, cable, EVERYTHING, can be put on that baby. Then, you only have one bill to pay each month, and you accumulate free money for Disney.

well thanks for the info. We have had the card since Day One but I haven't actually sat down and reviewed the new changes, just finally got hubby to order the points card! We too put pretty much everything on that card and then pay that bill, and I have already talked to my sister and I am going to put her families AP's on the card and then pay it right off with her cash! so that will be a few extra souvineers for the kids this June! Now if I can do the same with my brothers family then it will be a family dinner for the whole gang! 12 AP's thats alot of points! (neither brother or sister or mom has the card, we are the only Disney obsessed members of my family)

Wow! That will definitely get you some free stuff!

We renewed the APs on it last month, and with Christmas presents and our regular bills, it was amazing how many points we accumulated. It scared me at first!!

Hello,

We booked our trip through Kingdom Konsultants (Pam is on this board). She set us up with the Disney Visa trip. Basically, for each adult a child under 9 stays for free. They get a free length of stay park pass. You also get $100.00 Disney Dollars when you arrive. I also just found out when you arrive you are given a choice of a small handful of things, one of which is a free Leave a Legacy Tile. The tiles are not my favorite but since you can't get a brink any more and my daughter is not on the one my and my wife bought years ago, we will get the tile.

As for the points, as was mentioned they do add up. Our trip was about $2000.00 so that is another 20 points. Basically we will have enought for a few meals. But hey, they are free - we were going to WDW anyway.

We purchased our Disney Vacation Club membership with our Disney VISA card. $13,000 went on that baby. I got a lot of points from that. I traded them in and last summer had a free meal on it and bought the black Mickey mirror from the Disney at Home store in Downtown Disney. It's fun to spend money and see those points get up there.

Meega, nala kwishta!
Same here. we paid for our last trip with our Disney Visa, and I know exclusily use this card to pay for everything.

I belive their is a limit per year that you can get. Something like $750 (or something like that) but that would mean you spent $75,000 on a Visa card. I don't think I'll ever hit that.

We got the Disney certificates, not the reward points. They changed to the card 2 weeks after I redeemed my last point before our trip.

Now were just gearing up for next trip. Luv them free $!
