Hey folks new member here. Just wanted to squeeze in my two cents worth. I'm a huge Disney fan but also a fan of casino gambling (poker).
There is no doubt Disney could make a fortune with a casino. It doesn't take much for a corporation with access to capital like Disney. Unfortunately they would suffer some major public image damage. As much as Las Vegas has become family oriented (ha ha) their bread and butter is and forever will be gambling. A family of four spending all day riding rides, going to water parks eating in hotel themed resturants barely spends what a recreational gambler spends in two hours in the casino. In Las Vegas the focus has to be on the casino. I don't think Disney is ready to nor should they cross that bridge. They need to stick to what they are good at. Leave Las Vegas to Steve Wynn.
