News Disney Unveils Advanced Self-Walking Olaf Built with AI and Reinforcement Learning

Disney put out this surprisingly detailed image of the inner workings of Olaf. I am part of group that builds Star Wars droids and someone commented that this isn't exactly an instruction manual, but it's pretty close. Wouldn't be surprised to see someone in the group try to build one.

This is cool publicity. I will probably never see Olaf “in person” and if for some reason I do, it will be from a safe distance, so it’s great to see this publicly stuff and I am sure it’s good for the stock price.

Have fun in Hong Kong. I will never go there anyway.

I hope to go back to HK and visit Disney when I do.
But Olaf will be at WDS on March 29th 2026. Hopefully I’ll be back sometime later in the year.
