Rumor Disney To Remove "Magic Carpets Of Aladdin"

Just sounds like another "Disney Diminishment" to me. Primeval Whirl is gone and I hear rumors that other rides may be retired. I won't even get into all the "perks" that have gone away...like say parking or the little bottles of shampoo.

Disney is headed in the wrong direction and not sure how this supports the ongoing yearly 8% - 10% price increases. "Less for more" does not seem like a sustainable ongoing business model.

I can't say that I'm to the point of not going back yet. But the magic is certainly diminishing and that is disheartening.

I hear Disney might alter a few things because of some sort of worldwide pandemic. But, that's just a rumor... it could change.

I wouldn't mind hypothetical as long as OP acknowledges that's what it is instead of claiming inside info with nothing to back it up.

My advice: don’t get hung up on that label. Beyond that...I think we can agree it’s just talk.

I believe (id say know...but I’m not an “insider” so I don’t want that thunder) that Disney will be doing next to nothing for several years...I’m thinking like 00-05. Just a hunch

I Work At WDW And "Magic Carpets" May soon be retired. currently, the place where magic carpets are is too overcrowded. magic carpets would most likely be removed and will not be replaced by anything except for some palm trees and benches

Magic Carpet Is Facing Maintenance Issues And Is Breaking Down Often
Area too overcrowded? If thats the reason then theres lots of attractions and areas in need of shutting down or opening up. Maintenance issues, well thats a decent reason. I'm all for more greenery and shaded benches anywhere.
