I have been following these threads for a couple days. Very Entertaining!!!

I live in McKinney Texas, right next to Frisco. When I moved here in 2002 my coworker who I was replacing said there was a rumor then that Disney was buying up property in Frisco, but he wasn't sure where and if it was going to be a park. I dismissed it then as a rumor.

I didn't hear anything more until Monday when my wife said she heard a caller on the radio (103.7) say that Disney was going to announce a new park in Frisco after the Superbowl. The caller claimed to be "in the know". I wonder if it was Fisher! LOL

I Googled Disney and Texas and found Fishers long thread. Today my link wouldn't work, so I registered hoping that was the problem. Well, I guess it was deleted.... Hummmmmmm!!!!!! Conspiracy!!!!

Thats my story. I don't believe the rumors, but the banter about them has been entertaining. I look at Disney opening a park here much like hitting the lottery. The odds seem to be the same and I would end up rich in both cases!!! Fun to dream about!

It was deleted because the rumor was false, the thread was heated and the arguements were rediculous, considering that half of its participants were names created by Fisher, and it looks like we have another one joining us now... #9 is you!

I await #10 eargerly...

Umm... you can't say that. It's copyrighted. What you should say is that 'I heard from my wife that on there was a rumor on the radio that Disney is waiting until after the "big game" the make thier announcement.' And by, the way... you're wrong. They're going to make the announcement during the big game; during a commercial break in the second quarter.

You are all wrong. They are waiting until the 2027 Olympics when they will be located in Orlando. When the torch-carrying hover robot reaches the top of the hover-stairs, he will scream out- "Ya'll Ready for Disney in Texas?"

it would either be 2024 or 2028 for it to be a summer Olympics
2026 would be the winter Olympics at Blizzard Beach:cool:
