thanks to WDW-LUVR, ive decided to make my friend a disney survival kit to get her excited for our upcoming trip!
What would you want in YOUR disney survival kit?
Im thinking: autograph book, pen, sunscreen, glow sticks (cheaper to take them with us, and at the dollar store here they have neat mickey mouse ear headbands), and the vacation planning dvd..

You should get some of the customized maps from disney.com - they're free! I just got mine in the mail, they're vintage looking & I think pretty cool to take with you on a trip :)

We got those and they are VERY nice BUT.......they are big and cumbersome.....and because you end up dropping them, bending them and such.....we ended up just using the ones at the main entrance and those were much easier to use. On the upside....the maps do make great souveniors!

I think the perfect survival kit would be better put inside a " pack" That way they can use it there to carry all the essentials needed for the day. Nothing worse than having to constantly go into your back pack to get your key to the world card to get fast passes. (take it off your back, open the zipper, get out your key to the world card, put it back, zipper shut, sling it back on the shoulder......so annoying!) After having to do that a gazillion times last year......I will be going with a pack this year.

Some other ideas to fill up a survival kit.....

*surprise them with "disney dollars" in it!!!:)
*baby wipes.....omg they save the day over and over!!!
*lysol cleaning wipes.....hey disney is clean but, you never know!!!
*a few pairs of low cut light weight white cotton socks
*a memory card for digital cameras (all depending on how much you want to spend of coarse!)
