If I pre-ordered Treasure Planet from the Disney Store...now...can I pick it up tomorrow at a "DIFFERENT" Disney Store than the one that I pre-ordered it from?

No, I think is your answer. It would be too difficult for stores to account for full deposits/part-payments etc and other store having to release stock when no money has been received. It would also be easier for fraudsters to claim "free" copies.

Hmmmm, maybe you should bring it in to the store I work at then--just in case. 
But seriously, we've always told our guests that they can pick up their movies at any Disney Store and we don't check to see what store something was pre-purchased in when someone brings in their voucher. Shouldn't be a problem.

They always send us far more DVDs than we actually pre-ordered. Even with L&S and B&B our shelves and media cage were sufficiently stocked after the first day of release.
So don't feel bad about picking it up at another store! They will have enough.

I used to work at the Disney Store in our local mall, and I left because of schedule conflicts at home and stuff... I sure do miss it!! (and the perks! :animwink: ) but I'll go back some day... my manager told me there's always a job waiting for me. :sohappy:
... it seems to me that at one time... quite awhile ago, you could only pick your movie up at the store where you originally bought it... but while I was working there it was at any Disney Store too... ... am I babbling?? :brick:

Hi....I work at a Disney store, and the answer is you definitely can pick it up at any Disney store.......when I was preselling Lilo and Stitch I let people know they could pick it up at any Disney store---even the one in Hawaii! heeheheh I am gonna be rushing out tomorrow to pick up my Treasure Planet.....it is a great movie, and I think it was remarkably poorly marketed, and hopefully more people will see it now that it is for sale and rent......

Yes you can pick it up at ANY Disney Store. That's what makes it easy to pre-sell movies!!!! But come to my Disney Store.... in Massachusetts!!

I now work at Emerald Square, they closed my store at Providence Place, I am working tonight.

I think it must work differently in the USA than it does in the UK, as when my wife pre-ordered a Disney video from one place and tried to get it from another, she was told she would have to back to the place she originally ordered it from. The reason was because Disney sent out a certain number of videos to each store based on the number of pre-orders and for her to receive her video at a different store may deprive someone else of their video. I can't believe that Disney sends merchandise out in such accurate quantities, but what do you do, call the CM a liar?
