HELP!!!!

I am going to Orlando Nov 9th and I am only going to be there for one day. Can any one tell me what the hours of the Disney Store at the airport are???? I plan on doing some of my X-mas shopping there and would like to know how early or how late they stay open.

Being there for one day, what park would you select??
I have an extra day left on my pass and wanted to go to a park and soak up some Disney Magic before the holidays...

So guys I need some help....Does the shop at the airport hold about the same stuff the parks would or would i be better off at one of the park is bringing stuff back...any info would help....

I just returned from WDW (Oct 20) and the store in the airport is closed. It LOOKS like it's under rennovation, but there are signs on the walls for things other than the Disney Store. Usually they say "pardon our dust" or something. But if I didn't know had been a Disney Store you'd never know by the signage on the construction walls.

They did have little satilite stores in the concourses, but they were very small with limited merchandise.

While we're on the subject of the airport... the security at the airport was great... AND NICE! They spoke english, apologized for the delays, explained what they were doing, & politely suggested ways to make it go faster in the future. You couldn't ask for better service.

Tommy,

It kinda depends on the type of person you are but I, myself, love MK and would go there with my last day's ticket. :animwink: Other people would tell you Epcot (like my husband).:brick:

As for the store in the airport vs. buying things at the park, I know that the park has so much more available than the Disney Store. I had to buy some last-minute things before our trip back home and went to the airport store (this was back in July) and they didn't have a lot of different sizes to pick from...they were sold out of a lot of sizes is what I'm trying to say. I think if you know what you're looking for, such as t-shirts or jewlery or something in particular, that you could go to the park and have it brought up to the front for you so you don't have to carry it around the park.

That's just my two cents...hope it helps!

Well, if the store at the airport isn't open, I'd say hit Epcot and then do your shopping at Mousegear on your way out . . .

Magic Kingdom!! Definately, nothing better than a walk down mainstreet usa!!! A trip to the Haunted Mansion and a cruise through the caribbean!! Then a little shopping on main street!!
Have fun- I am very jealous!!!:)

If you have hopper passes, I would try to get Magic Kingdom and the Studios (Studios just for the osborne lights).

If you can't hop, then it is up for you to decide. It really depends on what you want and like.

One day in WDW

MK hands down!! It's the best in every way. Great shops on Main Street and lots of great shops throughout. Mix that up with the attractions and you have perfection. Way better than the airport shops for Christmas shopping.

A day in the parks versus a day at the airport?? Was there a question here somewhere?? LOL LOL LOL My opinion of the Disney Stores these days isnt the best. They are really focusing on kids stuff which is nice if you have them, I dont so I tend not to be able to find anything that I really need except the occasional videotape. Also in Disney they have stuff called Park Exclusive. These are items you can only get in Disneyworld or from there by the mail order service they have. Id definitely go for shopping in the parks!! Mousegear is a nice store, The Emporium and all the connecting stores are really great (I got a new wristwatch there, so far MANY compliments!!) Studios and AK also have stores that are exclusive unto themselves. All the parks will send your purchases to the front gate for pickup later, back to your hotel if you are staying on property or even to your home address if you'd like!!!I am not sure what the Shipping and handling charges are like though. Might eliminate carrying stuff on the plane!! Good luck and have a great time!!! Belle

Store at airport.

I agree about the Disney Stores but the store at the airport isn't a Disney Store. It is operated by WDW as is the one at the Disney Stop in Ocala. There's no better shopping than WDW.
