i dont believe you...honestly...look at how film and animation has changed...its all a "realistic fairyland look" look at NFL it blends things that clearly are not real but in such a way reasonable minds could picture it being real. this is a trend i hope we see more of. in a nutshell fake stuff that looks and feels real...has some tangible rooting to what we know is real.

I think the issue you are more identifying is the Postmodern [architectural] view of design and aesthetics.
