Disney shows in UK

Does anyone know why there are not really any programmes on Disney in the uk for exaple shows how they made rides or behind the scenes ect?

i have only seen one about Walts life on the biography channel i thought we might of had the christmas day parade on abc on cable on christmas day but no such luck i would love to see some more info about Disney i need another Disney fix the travel channels dont say enough

i really wanted to see the christmas parade aswell i would have thought that disney channel uk would have shown something

There are a couple of shows on the Travel channel about Disneyland Paris and the Disney Studios. Ther was also a special on Everest a few months ago.

i think its something to do with out broadcasting laws that a disney park programme would be seen as biased advertising!
thats why the old bank holiday specials are no longer on, as ofcom said it was advertising.

im almost certain the year before last they were showing snippets of what its like to be a cast member and stuff like that. Not too sure now - mind Im a student so tv is my forte

i did see a feature on expedition everest last year however which was on the travel channel.

from a factual perspective i thought it was a bit hit or miss.... there could of been alot more about the imagineer/researcher experiencing tibetan culture....

i watch ray mears and also alot of documentaries mind you - hence why i didnt find it *that* interesting... its probably on dc-torrents :wave:
