Subbing! I have been wanting to know this as well!

i have an iphone and att and their site stinks, i currently am using phoneozoo.com they are pretty decent and free, i am just getting bored with their selection.
if you do use them, DON'T CLICK ON THE LARGE ICON that says DOWNLOAD TO PHONE, it won't work, it will bring you to another site....
you have to click on save to pc.....it should save in your itunes music library folder, then just plug in your phone and sync it....

With a small bit of practice one can use iTunes to create iPhone ringtones. I have not done it for anything Disney, but I have cut down a few songs and audio clips into ringtones and other sounds (new text, new email).

Where is the save to PC button? All I see is send to phone, report, and delete.

Thanks.

Ditto the Star Tours chime for text messages. Trying to think of a new ringtone choice.

I have quite a few Disney ringtones on my phone, though most I don't hear much, as they're assigned to people who don't call me that often. It's easy to do on an Android once you know what to name the folder on the phone.

My text alert is usually a snippet from the breakdown spiel on Mr. Toad that says "Attention, please. Attention...please."

I also have an alarm set every evening to remind me to enter the Disney Leap Day sweepstakes for that day, that's "Dead Men Tell No Tales".

I also have MSEP, four pieces from RoE, the Imagination Institute theme, Communication Tunnel from SSE, the instrumental Yo Ho and the HM wolf.

if you go to the song you want click on it, then another screen will open, you will see this along the top of the ringtone details....click on save to pc
Save to My Zoo
Send to Phone
Save to PC
Report
Delete

another screen will open that will say NEXT STEPS (VERY IMPORTANT)
click on the save to pc button again, then your save box should open, you can save it to a file folder or to itunes....
once you save it, plug your phone into your pc, open itunes go to your ringtones and it should be there (if you saved it to itunes) if not you have to go to the file folder and drag it into your itunes music folder, once its in itunes, select it and then sync your phone.

On a Mac and with an iPhone?

If you are on a Mac you can use Garageband to create custom ringtones from your iTunes songs or from movie files. It's a little easier than doing it in iTunes. Open the file (you can drag and drop them) in Garageband, use the controls to split the audio where you want your ringtone to start and where you want it to stop. You can even set it to fade in and fade out if you like. Once you have it the way you want it go to "Share" and choose "Send Ringtone to iTunes". It will build the new file and automatically add it to the ringtones section of iTunes. Next time you sync your iPhone it will be available.

I make my own from the park cds and then youtube. After I get the file, I use sony's acid to crop the file down and then load it onto my phone. Not really that hard, maybe takes 10 minutes or so per ringtone.
