Disney Quest?

True, but sometimes a big building where you can see anything inside can build a sense of xcitement and anticipation where you're interested in seeing what's inside.
That can work, but something like this that your average person in Downtown Disney has never seen anything like it before, they don't know what to expect and the only thing they can see on the outside is "Please come in. That'll be $44.99". That's a huge barrier to curiosity.

Hey each to his/her own. I went there twice in Jan because we have annual passes that allows us to get in. Both times was empty and there were a lot of down games. I think the idea is fine it is just run down and dated. The VR games are horrible.

Isn't there a preview tv screen out front though?

A few months ago when I was on the WDW Fan Boys podcast we did a show on what we'd like to see done with Disney Quest. Beyond the theming possibilities (Flynn's Arcade, Pizza Planet, the arcade from Wreck it Ralph), another suggestion was integrating the End of the Line club in with Flynn's arcade. The other thing that really intrigued us was virtual reality of extinct attractions.

it feels outdated, it should change a little bit at the least. sort of like revamp it and bring it into the 2010s.

i think retheming some of it to Wreck-It Ralph would be awesome.

its so sad to see the genie go! that was my favorite part. DQ has been falling apart for along time now. Even PotC looks like technology from 20 years ago. Disney refuses to change out any of the VR and until they do, I will refuse to go back.

Without the Genie I'm just sad. That was one of the only memorable parts for me.

It's like the imagination is leaking...

I went to DisneyQuest recently and it was later in the evening, so I just figured they didn't have the Genie on for later day guests. Has this been turned off completely?

These are all great ideas, I'll have to look for the podcast. It's kind of a shame that they just brought in a few wreck it ralph games and just stuck them in the corner. Though I was bummed when I saw they covered the Cave of Wonders facade (but I realize it's temporary).

Was there a few weeks ago.. dead. I used to think it was awesome but this past trip left a bad taste in my mouth due to how highly over-priced (we had vouchers for free entry) it was for such poor, outdated games and attractions. If no plans are to update it, I would not shed a tear for it being torn down for something better.

Thank god for JamboSafari, kept me from getting bored too quickly. : p
