Disney Quest

I never thought I would be interested in this place, but after seeing a special on TV about WDW in which they talked about it, I realized it may be quite fun....especially the "create your own roller coaster" part. I was trying to decide whether or not to add that option onto our tickets next year. If I understand correctly, 45 dollars gets you the "waterparks and more" option, and it is 45 dollars no matter how many days your ticket is for, but the amount of visits increases depending on how many days your ticket is for. For example, if I understand correctly, if you get a one or two day ticket, 45 dollars gets you two visits to the waterparks, Disney Quest, or Wide World of Sports. But if you get a ten day ticket, that same 45 dollars gets you five visits? Do I understand this correctly? And how much is it to pay at the door and not get that option on your ticket?

I've only looked at the deal through 7 days, but essentially you get 3 visits on a 1-3 day ticket, 4 visits on 4 or 5 day tickets, 5 visits on a a 6 day ticket, and 6 visits on a 7 day ticket.

I don't know what it costs to get in on its own. We usually get it because we know we want to hit a water park and PI a few nights, and therefore will definitely be getting value on it vs. paying those admissions seperately.

I would suggest that you not waste your time or money. DisneyQuest will be closing in the fall, and I say about time. No money has been put into it in years, and for the sake of the virtual coaster and 2 or three other VR type rides, its old video games and pinball machines. Do a water park and the arcade in your hotel if arcade games are needed.

Does that fee only cover the cost of getting in the door, or does it cover the cost of all the games as well?

i say dont spend the extra money to do it but if its included in your ticket then stop by for a bit when your in dtd. we only stopped by for an hour and mainly looked around and did a few things while we were out shopping. If you have the ticket and the time i say give it a try! but its definatally not a full day or even half a day activity maybe just a hour or so in the evening when your shopping in dtd

Thanks for the advice. I would like to do the water parks, but my wife wants no part of it, so that's out. We don't party, so Pleasure Island is out. We don't care about Wide World of Sports. So that basically leaves Disney Quest. I thought the virtual Jungle Cruise and the Virtual Pirates ride looked pretty good, as well as the roller coaster thing. But if it's all closing in the fall, and we aren't going until the Spring, then I guess it would, indeed, be a waste of money.

That's the whole point, you pay one fee to get in, then all games are "free" or more appropriately included.

Adult tickets are $35 :brick:

I did not do the virtual roller coaster last time I was there. The virtual Jungle Cruise is fun. My favorite would be the virtual pirates ride.

BTW- Disney has not yet officially announced that DQ will be closed end of the year. I am not saying it won't happen, but I am going to guess that DQ will still be open when y'all go.
