Disney Quest in Philly?

All WB stores are gone.

I wouldn't discount the Anaheim Disneyquest rumours out of hand. All that Paid for equipment from the Chicago location has to go somewhere and DTD Anaheim needs something to actually draw people.

As a former Chicago resident, one of the big problems with DisneyQuest was location. The tourist District of chicago has bad parking and is near some not so excellent neighborhoods. it was not a location where families from the suburbs spent time. Further, there was no Eatery in DQ which meant that during the week, there is absolutly in DQ. They were all at ESPNZone.

DTD has a different Dynamic. while DL generally doesn't have the same weekday draw that WDW does, there's still better parking and more built in clientle.

Right now, WB stores as a chain are going out of business. The one in baltimore is expected to close their doors in April. NYC might stay open as a specialty store.

And Disney Immagineering did help design Port Discovery in Baltimore.

DQ and WB

Last time I was in NY there were Final Clearance Sale signs in the WB stores windows.
I don't understand why the downtown DQ in Phila would the city off so much. Last time I looked that was where all the hotels were and just because one part of the city has tourist items doesn't mean they can't have popular destinations in more than one place. If anything I would think it would help develop the city as a vacation destination to have diverse tourist locations.

PS right across from WB store in TS in NYC is the coolest Toys r Us I have ever seen. It just opened and it even has a frigging ferris wheel in it
