Disney Quality Assurance Jobs?

I realized that next to being an actual imagineer, my next dream job would be a quality assurance job for the parks. Someone who actually gets paid to go to the parks and makes sure they are up to standard. Does disney even have a real job like this or is this just my wishful thinking, and the qa's are stuck in a dingy old office listening to guest relations complaints all day

I'd love to do QA as well, the kind you're mentioning, but I don't know much about what kind of positions are available.

It was a position when I was a CM ages ago, but it wasn't full time though. For example a CS restuarant manager at Epcot may have been asked to spend a day in the MK evaluating the CS options. Not sure how it works now though.

The above poster is correct. GSMs and Area Managers will do evaluations of other areas (not where they work). There are also multiple levels of state inspections, especially when it comes to F&B.

There are a few areas similar to QA, but most are safety focused. Disney Vacation Club and the Disney Reservation Center do have QA positions, but they're call-center type positions, monitoring guest satisfaction on calls.

One could say their reports arn`t read very well.

I know each individual attraction has checklist after checklist of AA animation, effects and the like, which CMs should go through and check.

QA reports aren't read very well....ever. We QA's are the enemy to management and production. A thorn in the side of progress. Those who step onto the battlefield after the fight has been fought and bayonette all the wounded.

I love it. I would gladly be a Disney QA and love every last minute of it. I've been doing it in the field of science for 13 years. I'd love to apply my critical eye to something that is actually fun and interesting.
