In the news today, Disneyland officials have lobbied against a parachuting Santa to land in a nearby park in Anahiem. The motion has passed due to the flight restrictions that the Disney company has aquired for the Disney Land and Disney World parks. According to the airspace guidlines, aircraft are not permitted to fly under 3000 ft withen a 3 mile radius of either park areas. This guidline was placed after the terrorist attacks of 2001. Disney officials asked for this resolution at that time to insure that terrorists could not easily target the parks. Anaheim "Jingle Bell Jump" supporters are furious with the Santa ban and wish to make an accord with Disney next year. For more info, go to yahoo news.
