I got my Princess Cartridges last night!!! Ordered them Monday from Hallmark Scrapbooks. Already made 1 Ariel and have to make a Mulan tonight (my two daughters favorites). The hardest part is picking the right colors!

Very cool, Shari! I was wondering when they were coming out.

What size is that Ariel? Can you use the cartridge with the regular size cricut or do you need the big one?

That is so cute! Are they hard to put together?

Michael's has the Cricut on sale this week for $199 - I showed it to my hubby and it's already on the Christmas list. :)

I cut this on on the basic old Cricut...don't have an Expression. It is sized at 5 1/2". It says on the boxes that some images are to detailed to be used on anything but the Expression so I decided to cut it as big as I could.

That is so cool! What else do they have for you to cut besides the princesses?

These are really easy to cut out. The hard part is finding the right colored papers. You start by cutting out the whole image in black. It will cut out the details so you can layer the colored pieces on easily. Then you just cut out the other pieces in the colors you want. The book tells you exactly what buttons to push to get the individual pieces. I cut them all at 5 1/2". Tonight I am making Mulan for my other daughter.

Depending on the cartridge you can cut out:
Dreams Come True
Little Mermaid: Ariel in several poses for both fins and legs, Sebastian, Flounder, Ariel with Eric in her wedding dress as well as as a mermaid, The Movie name/logo
Beauty and the Beast: Belle in several poses close up, in yellow dress and blue dress, Beast, Mrs. Potts, Chip, Cogsworth, Lumiere, the rose, Beauty with the Beast, castles, movie logo, and a lot more.
Aladdin: Jasmine up close and full length, Genie, Abu, Aladdin with Jasmine standing and on the carpet, the castle, movie logo
Pocohantas: close up and standing Pocohantas, the racoon, movie logo.

Happily Ever After
Cinderella: Cinderella logo, Cinderella close up and standing, with wedding dress and as a maid, the mice, Fairy Godmother, the coach, Cinderella with her prince (regular and wedding), castle, etc.
Sleeping Beauty: Sleeping Beauty Logo, Sleeping Beauty up close, twirling, as Sweet Briar (I think that is the name?), the fairies, the castle
Snow White: Snow White logo, up close and standing, all seven drawfs, with her prince, drawfs home, the mirror
Mulan: Mulan name, Mulan up close and standing, Mushu

Hope this helps. I need to get cracking on two autograph books...I may be sleepless the next few weeks to get it done in time.

I went to several places pricing these and also adding on the shipping cost. Hallmark Scrapbooking was the cheapest I found at this time. I had never bought from them before. I ordered them Monday afternoon and got them Thursday. They are in Utah and I am in Indiana. Usually stuff from Utah takes a week to get to me, but they shipped it USPS in a nicely packed box. I will be keeping them on my list of preferred sellers.

I am cheap...so I do bargain shop, but there are a few things I know I will buy regardless...I just try to save as much as I can when I do this.

On colors...here is a suggestion I found...can't remember where I read it though.

When picking out the colors, go to the sticker section and pick up the character you are wanting to recreate. Take that with you to the cardstock section to use for comparing colors to get the closest match.

I plan on doing this the next time I am at a craft store so I can get closer colors.
