How hard would it be to just have said we are continuing to invest and have tons of amazing projects on the horizon to continue attracting more travelers? Talking about attractions that opened years ago is insulting - AND I LIKE JOSH! This is just such a ridiculous statement/article.

During his tenure he going to have expanded Disney's footprint by creating HK DL and Shanghi Disney, opening properties in the most populous area of the world, and now announcing a third in the richest area of the world.

On top of bringing expanding Disney by bringing in minor IP like, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, and starting the steaming market. Year i am sure he has to be worried about his legacy.

There is some time in August I believe where you can get 3 day 3 park ticket for under $100 per ticket, then get a Halloween Party ticket for a low cost and a $99 per night rate for an All Star.

For a family of four with 5 nights at an All Star with tickets to each park for under $2500 potentially (before tax). That's pretty damn good.

Disney's messaging about cost has truth to it.

Exactly. How difficult is "we're building Tropical Americas in AK and bringing the stories of Encanto to life in vibrant an unexpected ways, alongside a reimagined Indiana Jones attraction, and a beautiful carousel, as well as new dining locations" and then do the same for Villains/Cars in MK and DHS with Monsters?????

Dude stick to your old man senile pepperidge farm stich.

I mean seriously, you add nothing to this forum, or likely to the people who know you in general with any facts or value, just random babbling, and talk of yesteryear, but at least when your talking about subjective opinions, you just sound ridiculous, as opposed to just patently stupid. I mean trying to knock down the resume of someone like Iger, especially coming from a nobody poster of a message board, is simply sad. You can agree or disagree with individual decisions, but the man has more success in the industry than you have had in your entire life at anything.

Allstars for $2500 is not “pretty damn good”…it’s just not as awful as a year ago due to price desperation tactics…but I see you’ve been watching Jim Cramer 👍🏻

And don’t get me wrong: they need a little desperation…because it hasn’t worked for awhile prior

Disney's messaging about cost has truth to it.
Doesn't make it above criticism. They are WAY less affordable than they used to be.

As for this "always on the offensive," I'm starting to think he means "offensive" in the other way. Everything that is coming is replacing something:

from least offensive to most offensive
Dino-Rama --->>> Encanto (not really offensive at all)
Dinosaur --->>> Indiana Jones
MuppetVision --->>> Nebulous Monsters, Inc Show
Rivers of America --->>> Cars Rally Race

For me, three of those four are literally offensive to me. So, sure, Walt Disney World is on the offensive all right.

(This is a run on sentence with no clear point or destination - pls correct) I mean trying to knock down the resume of someone like Iger, especially coming from a nobody poster of a message board, is simply sad. So he’s lauding stuff that took 5 years to build, opened 5 years ago, and mostly under delivers in key areas?

Anyone actually read this nametag nonsense and give it any rope?
Whether or not it underdelivers isn’t the point. The point is Disney is already light years ahead of the competition While universal is (hopefully) just hitting a creative renaissance. I don’t even disagree on some of the projects they’re referring to being flawed in some areas but the momentum is there. And 5 years isn’t that long in the grand sceme of things especially when a good part of your audience couldn’t go for 5 years because of Covid-19.
