Just been reading (on doingflorida.com)about Disney PhotoMovie and I've never heard of it before. Has anyone used it, would be a great way to look at all your photos when you get back home.:wave:

I did it for our last trip! It is well worth the money. Go to EVERY photopass photographer you see and take lots of your own pictures. You can download your pictures that you have taken and use them as well for the DVD. They have fillers of their own, and you have up to 7 chapters you can fill up. One for each of the parks and then you can choose the resort you stayed at and put miscellaneous pictures in it or hotel pics from next to the pool. My son loves to watch it. But make sure you get as many photos taken by the photographers as you can. I think it was $125, and additional DVD's are $19.99. I gave my mother a DVD for Christmas.
Oh, and you can either watch it as a movie or a slide show. The movie has things like Goofy painting you picture across the screen as they change or Mickey saying hello and your picture pops up. Very cool!

I bought it last year, I love it it adds some Disney characters transitions to your pics. Its also cheaper than buying your photopass pics seperatly and you can upload some of your own pics from your vacation or home.There are also chapters like Resort, Magic Kingdom etc.

We've gotten it twice and were really pleased with it. It has apparantly gone up in price because I think it was 50 dollars at first and then maybe the next year I remember it being 60 or so.
The kids love to watch them, because they have the characters in there doing funny things. The music is also wonderful. Even in the slideshow mode.
They are also great about fixing any problems. I had some issues with the last one I ordered, and they kept sending me new ones without the problem fixed. Finally, they told me to make a new one and gave me a code to use so that it was free. Their customer service was fabulous!

You're right...sorry. It must have been the CD that was $125. I knew I paid $75 for one and the other was $125

Yes, I too purchased the PhotoMovie and I'm very happy with the results. Such a lovely keepsake and fun to show to family and friends (not the same 'ole vacation photos)! As people have already mentioned, take lots of PhotoPass pictures while you're there so you have a nice selection when you get home and of course you can upload your own pics as well. Then you will have a nice mixture of PhotoPass pictures and your own pics.
The price must have gone up by a lot. I only ordered mine last June (07) and the price was 50 plus shipping. Now I had to pay $20 shipping (I think) b/c I live in Canada and the shipping was more, I do believe. So the total for me was $70. If the price is now $75 and then I would have to add shipping onto that - wow that's a lot of money!!!
I don't know if I would pay that much!?! But next time I plan on purchasing the CD anyways!
