Ten attractions at two Disney parks will be closed for refurbishments for at least part of this month.
Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin in Disneyland has among the longest closures in November. The Mickey’s Toontown ride closed Sept. 20 and is set to reopen Dec. 17.
Most rides are scheduled for routine maintenance and refurbishments. The schedule is subject to change.
Here is the current November schedule in Disneyland.
Sailing Ship Columbia: Closed Monday (Nov. 1), reopens Thursday.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Closed Tuesday (Nov. 2), reopens Thursday.
Blue Bayou Restaurant, which is inside the Pirates ride: Closed Tuesday (Nov. 2), reopens Thursday.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters: Closes Tuesday (Nov. 9), reopens Nov. 18.
Jungle Cruise: Closes Nov. 15, reopens Nov. 19.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride: Closes Nov. 29, reopens Dec. 2.
“it’s a small world”: Closed Oct. 25, reopens Nov. 12, for a holiday makeover. See a previous story about the Disneyland holiday makeover.
Disney California Adventure:
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail: Closes Nov. 29, reopens Dec. 17.
Two Disney rides remain closed for major overhauls. Star Tours in Disneyland was grounded in July so construction could begin to turn the thrill ride into a 3D attraction when it reopens next year. See a story about Star Tours’ closure. Mulholland Madness in Disney California Adventure shut down last month to give it a new theme, Goofy’s Sky School. The roller coaster is slated to come back next year. See a story about the Disney roller coaster closure.
