Thanks for the replies, not going to make her watch them all, and it was more of I wanted to let her see some of the classics as she was a deprived child lol! shes seen a few of the newer ones and loved them and she wants to watch more of them but i thought it would be nice to coincide with the parks :) She actually has read a lot about Walt Disney and the Disney Company because I have a load of books lying around! (Surprise surprise).

I watched "The Haunted Mansion" a few months ago on TV (I usually stay away from newer Eddy Murphy movies because they all stink now) getting psyched for my trip and I was surprised that I watched the whole thing. I guess the motif circulating in my mind throughout was, "this has got to get better at some point." It did not, by the way. Horrible movie. I LOL'd at whatever song played during the credits, did not fit the theme of the movie.

I think there's a marketing strategy for horrible movies out there that just relies on recirculating "top 40" stuff that is tame enough for children to watch in the back seat of the van on road trips, i.e., Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Smurfs, Are we there yet?, etc.
