Of course they are, because it isn’t about capacity, it’s about ensuring a favorable guest mix.But they are still selling day tickets.
Disney:Dear AP holder,
We love you, but not when you spend less than the family from Denver making their once in a lifetime trip. Enjoy these $.005 magnets made in a windowless factory by workers being paid $10 a week.
Well, if it makes any APer feel less bad about this, the cost of a single day-ticked for Easter is $185.
BUT, APs may go directly to MK after 2pm (except MK on weekends where you have to check into another park first). In addition, APs now have the flexibility of checking into another park first thing in the morning and hopping directly over to MK.According to the Annual Passholder reservation calendar, Magic Kingdom is currently no longer available for new reservations on Easter Sunday, March 31.

Right. I forgot the part about weekends. (I have the Pixie Dust pass so I easily forget that part. )Except not on Saturdays or Sundays at Magic Kingdom. Your other point about park hopping is true!
Does Easter fall on a Sunday this year?
Too bad magicbands don’t include a wrist calculator for that math lolOnly in years evenly divisible by 589.
See. Bob is fixing everything! So let me get this straight:
But Disney has "gone away from the reservations system except for APs and other special tickets"? A single-day ticket doesn't strike me as a "special ticket".
- APs need reservations
- Single day tickets need reservations
- Multi-day tickets don't need reservations

This. There is no reservation though it being a single park ticket works out to one anyway.i think Single day just needs to buy a date specific ticket -- so not really considered a reservation, but still under a means to get a specific head count for a specific date/guest type.
