Can someone help with a ticket question? I have a 6-day ticket in MDE with a September 2021 expiration. Can I use 2 days of the tickets and make reservations this fall, and then use the remainder 4 days (with a reservation) in 2021? Or so you need to use the full ticket within a 2-week time frame or similar? I’m not sure if that usage policy has changed or not.

For those who may be wondering... I chatted with a CM this morning, who said the normal expiration rules for tickets still apply. Which makes no sense now with the reservation system and the uncertainty regarding which days could be secured, and is misleading in MDE, where the tickets state being for use “Any of the valid dates” (listing July 5-September 26, 2021 in our circumstance).

Thank you for contributing this. I had been wondering the same thing. It seems you and I are the only ones holding non-hotel-linked tickets!

So to confirm, a CM told you that the new park reservation system will not allow you to reserve, say, three days in one month and three days in another month, using a single 6-day pass? They must be used in a single 10-day period?

This is logical, of course, as those were the expectations at time of purchase (and the reason for the "volume discount." However, it is misleading for the tickets currently to read, "valid any of the dates..." They ought to read, "may be used within ten days of any of the valid starting dates...." or some such.

Did the CM explain how the reservation system will restrict this?

Same here. We all expected the system to crash.

FInally got in, but when I went to the park reservation tab, it just took me to the old information page, and then crashed.
