Good Morning All. Bet today's thread has 90% woman checking it out.;) Do you remember a few years ago,Disney brought out this " The year of the million dreams ". Well I think there should be another offer,and here's what I think it should be.Every day,one lucky family would win a Disney gift card with a $1000 loaded onto it.Heres the conditions.You must spend it all in one park,and in one day.So what park would you choose? And what would you spend it on? I would opt for Epcot.I would first buy a little shooter glass from every country for those snifters back home,I'd then head for " Mousegears " and get some T- Shirts,new Mickey ears,and a purse for the DW.( not the Doune & Burke ) Then I'd head for " Art of Disney " and splash out the rest of my bucks on one of those porcelain figurines,like Beauty & the Beast.So what park would you choose? And what would be on your shopping list.?;)

am I allowed to leave a gate for dinner? If so, Chefs table with a few bottles of wine with the wife, but I'd try and focus on goods. I'd like something tangible, something I could show off for that money. ART of Disney is where I'd likely find myself, some of the paintings are beyond tacky but some are very, very nice.

Magic Kingdom. First, it'll be a Disney Dooney purse (it's a dream of mine to own one, but can't possibly see spending that much on a purse, wallet, etc), then it'll be on to Bonjour Gifts where I will buy as much BatB stuff as I can fit in my suitcase, and then worry about where I am going to put it once I get back home.
Same here at first I was like, I'm buying everything in World Showcase but then I remembered the Dooney and Bourke purse store. Therefore I'd have to go to MSUSA and buy that plus lots of kitchen things!

Ok, I'm gonna be one of the 10 percent and, being a male, I'm still going to buy purses...Dooney purses...probably only 3 to 4 of them depending on which ones she picks out, but my wife loves these things and I would make sure all $1000 went to the DB bags...I don't really understand the attraction to them, but I gave her one for an anniversary in Sept. and...lets just say she liked it.

Add to my list 1 family friendly beverage for @epcotisbest for being such a good hubby and a male brave enough to post here!

See, THIS is what a Disney husband SHOULD do!!!! Kudos!!!! My husband searches high and low thru Disney, and buys me everything he can find with Pluto on it (MAJOR Pluto fan here) and because I didnt point out a Dooney purse, especially none with Pluto on it, he bought me a Coach satchel when we got home :)

I've got to check out this 6 foot giraffe. Sounds interesting, but where do you put a 6 foot giraffe? I'm guessing it is some kind of wood, and kinda heavy?
I have a collection of Andrew's work, more than 20 pieces, each represents a previous Disney trip, or a gift from my son. I have them all displayed on the mantle of my gas fire place (which we rarely turn on) I would put the wood Giraffe on either side :) Its gorgeous!! Next trip to Epcot, go take a gander at it :)

Wow great question! And yes, 90% of woman saw the word "shopping spree" and clicked (;
That would be so great if they offered that, not even everyday maybe twice a month or something, or once a week. It would really alleviate the cost of the trip for the parents with 1000 dollars spending spree! I think i'd be nice of Disney to do, speaking that they charge alot of money for the park entrance and the cost of merchandise.
I'd spend it in the Magic Kingdom, buying shirts, plush, my much wanted disney pillow pet ,those silly hats, candy, keychains and stuff to bring back to other people! Maybe get some high end poster/painting, figurines and snow globes. I wouldn't have a problem spending that 1000 dollars! I wish they'd give away some money to some people (especially people who go yearly to the parks).

I picked out the anniversary bag myself...a medium Sketch Tote...she was really surprised and liked it just fine, but the Sketch design seems to be the most popular and I like to go for different. Almost got the one with the colorful Mickey shaped balloons on it, but glad I went with the one I originally chose.
