i know its not wdw stuff but ive just booked tickets to see disney on ice here in england the 'the disneyland adventures' show, has any one ever seen it or any disney on ice show are they good?is there lots to buy:ROFLOL:?
We saw this back in (I think) 2005, when it came. It was a nice big promotion for the Happiest Celebration on Earth. Basically, the Incredibles take a vacation to the Magic Kingdom at WDW, but Syndrome attacks and madness ensues. Just think: murderous Small World dolls. We really liked the show and how they brought several of the attractions to life on the ice. The Haunted Mansion sequence was pretty cool, and I think they also had a Pirates portion that was pretty good.
The Disney on Ice shows are always fun for a good "Disney kick" between theme park trips. The skating is always supurb and the shows are a lot of fun. As far as things to buy: Yes, there is TON of stuff available to buy. Sno-cones come in plastic glasses shaped like characters. They've got programs, dolls, light-up toys, plushes, Barbie-type dolls. You name it, they have it for sale. If you're bringing kids, be prepared to say 'no' a lot, or bring a big wad of cash to shell out for the goodies. They're inescapable.
I just saw it a few weeks ago when it was here in Tampa and it was alright. The story was pretty good and all but the actor that played the father was a little weak. I think with a little more work it would have been awesome. I enjoyed the show seeing the rides and those were done really well and all. My Fiancee thought it was cute and I would probably go see one again.
I haven't seen that ice show, but I have seen other Disney On-Ice productions. I think they are really good for what they are and we always have fun. We have seen two different princesses ones, and I already have tickets to the HSM one coming in April.
If you are looking for stuff to buy you won't be disappointed! Disney never fails to have plenty of keep sakes for people to take home. My best advise is get a snow cone! They come in a keep sake cup that is really fun to have at the house in between trips to the world.
thanks for your replies everyone, not sure if they will have 'snow cones' this is england in the winter but you never know, i shall take my wallet and make sure its full!

We've done many of the disney on ice shows. My kids just love them! They are good for a disney fix for me and it brings the love of skating to my kids.
After seeing one show, my dd6 wanted to become a figure skater. It was so cute!
