Get a $750 Disney Gift Card great for dining, entertainment, recreation and shopping when you get a non-discounted 5-night/6-day room and ticket package at select Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts for most nights 1/3/10 to 6/3/10.

LET ME EDIT, its for Select Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts....see more here: http://bookwdw.reservations.disney....mo&promotionCode=fy10q3card&market=fy10q3card

If it can be used at WL or AKL standard rooms, this is a huge discount off the $239 value rate per night over 5 nights. It is almost buy 2 get 3 free.

Too bad it is another discount that penalizes guests that stay longer. That is why free dining is so successful. People go out of their way to squeeze in those extra 2-3 days to get a greater discount. A 10 night trip sees only a 30% room discount as opposed to the 5 nighter that gets 60% discount on lodging by calculating in the gift card.

If I'm already booked and visiting Jan8th-15th can I get in on this? I am staying at the boardwalk villas.

CALL! If there is availability they will cancel and then rebook your trip, they did it for me so I could get in on the free Disney dining, it was quick and painless, not a big deal at all.

If you are staying on DVC points then the answer would be no.
Its amazing to me that anyone even does DVC. Its all smoke and mirrors.

It works for some people depending on their vacation style.

We have enjoyed ours and we keep tabs on all the discounts that are going around.

DVC has been beaten in value sometimes, especially recently, but overall it has been an economical purchase for the way we choose to vacation.

We are booked at the Boardwalk Jan. 23-30th and got the buy 4 get 3 free deal. I assumed that when the new $750 gift card deal came out that we couldn't do both. Is that correct?

That is correct. You can not combine discounts. You are more than likely better off with the 4/3 deal.

Anyone considering switching to the gift card offer please be smart and do your research first. You get the gift card if you book a regular rack rate package. We are leaving for WDW next Friday and I was able to get our room(s) with a discount that saved us $1181.23 *each* (we have 2 rooms under 2 reservations). Make sure you know what the different savings are before you fall for the dollars dangling in front of you. When I heard about the gift card my first response was "Oooh!!!" followed quickly by a "No, wait a minute...I still beat that!". :animwink::D

We bought ours through resale and it was very beneficial going that route. The amount we paid and how we travel it has worked out great for us.

Also, dont think Disney is really giving away $750....to Disney that is more like a cost of $75 for them considering the resort markup on top of retail.
