Disney Needs.....

Is there room for two stunt shows in MGM, though? Not physically, but in reality people will see one and not the another.

I dont know if I agree with that. If the shows are both good people will see both.

and i would bet my life of it says that if u asked evry1 on this web site there would be at least 75% would say it was absolutly amazing......and i would also like to kno u think is a better ride that is ain disney?

I don't really judge my opinions on what other people think of a ride. I enjoyed Indiana Jones Adventure at DL, but I like Dinosaur better (go figure, seems I'm the only one).

I never said I disliked Spiderman, it is a good ride and I have no problem enjoying the ride, I just think it is overated in the sense that people make it as if this ride is the "be all end all greatest thing since sliced bread" in amusement parks.

Personally I would rather ride Splash Mountain or Tower of Terror over and over than Spiderman. It has far greater lasting appeal, it not all WOW, the pacing of the storytelling is better and a far more enjoyable EXPERIENCE overall, for me. Maybe not for the next person.

I could give you a litany of rides at WDW I would ride over Spiderman. Universal as a park and Spiderman don't hold any sentimental value/nostalgia for me like almost every Disney attraction does.

The Indiana Jones Adventure NEVER gets old to me. and the the Pit of Bubbling Death) will ALWAYS be far more impressive to me than 3-D. And, the fact that there are something like 160,000 different ride possibilities on Indy make every ride different it is THAT good, arguably better than any ride at Disney World, including the Tower of Terror.

I know I'm in the overwhelming majority, bu when I visited DL for my the first time ever in 2002, I went on Indy about 5 times. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was let down. I had heard over and over and over how this was THE ride. Maybe I missed something, but it just felt like I went zooming around in a jeep, a few things happened, boulder comes at you, good ride and all.

I never noticed different endings or any change in anything on the ride. Granted, maybe we mentally were a bit rushed while doing the parks and we never waited on the standby line, as our party had one of those SAP cards.

I defintely want this ride at MGM. Maybe it being in WDW, which holds so many memories for me, and numerous rides will "enlighten me".

FYI, I am always a big believer that a ride/attraction is only as good as the park it is in. Granted, Six Flags has alot of good roller coasters, but the parks are so crappy, it takes away from my feelings on the rides. If I'm in a utopian state of mind, I will enjoy anything I go on "that much more".

I say change very little to the Indiana Jones Adventure when it comes. For those of you who haven't ridden, it is THAT good, arguably better than any ride at Disney World, including the Tower of Terror.
I'm trying to convince my wife to go to Disneyland next year for the 50th Anniversary and this might help me with the convincing. :)

If Indy does come, I want it completely changed. I'm tired of cloned attractions. Sure it will be good if it comes to MGM, but I want a completely new, exclusive adventure.

That's very wise. Make it better after ten years.

I'd like an Indy ride very much although not cloned! Make it better. It won't cost much because the technology is already there. Create a new story-line and theme it differently!

I am against this being at MGM. Universal has already used the "is it a set or temple?" story, so I see no way of Disney finding a reason for it placed there! I want it at Adventureland, MK! 12 years have passed since the last true E-ticket (Splash Mountain)! MK needs something new and this could be it!

there will be changes, but it will be largely the same ride. Why? Because with construction like they have going on now, with so many major rides in the works, it makes more sense to use largely developed technologies that crowds love so that we can get all the new rides we want. New technology is not always required to impress. The Haunted Mansion has been impressing guests for decades. I'm all for a good balance b/t clones and originals--not every ride can be a $100,000,000 e-ticket (although an Indy clone would surely approach this amount).

It would be wise to give up on Indy coming to the Magic Kingdom. Why? Because nothing new is going to Adventureland. Disney is spending a lot of money to clear a huge lot of land in Fantasyland, so any future developments will go there, where Indy does not belong.

Also, why wopuld Disney spend a ton of money for a ride when the park has the most attedance of any park.

All of the other parks need more reasons to go than the MK. (not neccesarily my opinion, but that's where the crowds are) :)

The Indiana Jones Ride at DisneyLand is ok. I rode it once 2 years ago. I wasn't that impressed because it is soo much like Dinosaur. That's why I don't think its a good idea to clone the same ride and put it into MGM. I am some what of an Indiana Jones fan and the visuals on the ride where very good but I just can't get over that it's so much like Dinosaur. I again state that I would love to see a Indiana Jones Flume Ride at MGM. But please don't make an exact clone as the DL ride.

Ive never been to DL, what is the "indy ride"?

It's the Indiana Jones Ride. It's a great ride. You sit in this Jeep like vehicle and you experience being in his movies, plus you get to see him several times.

to each his own, but I really don't see the similarity between DINOSAUR and Indy. They are themed completely different...to me, it is like comparing "it's a small world" to Pirates. But, let's not give the false impression to those who have not ridden that Indy is not amazing. I would say 95% of people find it to be one of the best rides Disney has ever made, and 99% say it's better than DINOSAUR...can't please em all...

well why not create a poll and see if 75% like the ride. Personally, I don't like the ride and I didn't think the spiderman movie was all that great either. I fell asleep after 15 minutes.

What WDW needs:

MGM:
A silly, fun dark ride maybe with a Muppets theme
Another musical, maybe Aladdin
Something inside the old Superstar Television building...some type of show

Epcot:
Update and reopen WoL
Finish updating TLS
Another pavilion, maybe themed to Weather with a clone of Stormrider from TDS
Another Country, maybe Russia, Spain, or Greece (mmm Greek food and architecture)

MK
Not much, a few more small rides in FL to add capacity

DAK
More animals and trails (Chimps, Pandas, Marsupials)
More exhibits out by Rafiki's Planet Watch
Flik's Fun Fair
