Stargate is a marquee television property for MGM, and the film rights are with Lionsgate. It's not dead, even though it's off the air, and will likely be brought back for more in the future under both MGM and Lionsgate. They have licensed the property for theme parks, but not in the United States. I would expect it's unlikely to see a tie with Disney.

That's a personal suggestion and has nothing to do with real rumors and news, definitely wrong thread (not to mention what marni already critisized).
Btw I cannot fathom what Stargate has to do with Disney? It was ONE less than mediocre movie followed by an also mediocre but successful TV-series with spinoffs. (I know Star Wars was not originally Disney either but I wont even start comparing SW with SG) But Disney parks are not about non-disney TV shows, especially not with such a huge already existing OWN heritage of movies to choose from.

And now would someone please move this thread in the forum where it belongs?
