Disney Mobile for couples?

I was wondering if anyone has or is considering getting Disney Mobile but you are a couple. I'd like to get it because it's disney but it seems more for families so I'm not sure if it would be suitable for just a couple. Any thoughts or comments? Thanks in advance for any replies. :wave:

What is a Disney Mobile?

I thought about getting a Disney Mobile to put on our baby's crib. But somehow, I think you're talking about a different kind of mobile.:lol:

It's the new cellphone service offered by Disney.

It's basically Sprint service with the Disney extras. I haven't checked out the prices so I don't know how much more expensive they are. It's got some cool features but I don't think most of them would be useful for a couple. That doesn't mean that's any reason not to get it as long as the comparitive price points are the same as other services.

My wife and I bought into it. We have two younger kids that are not ready for cell service yet, but we liked the idea of being able to track if we wanted to. Also, the rates seemed fairly reasonable. We got the 1200 minute plan for $99 plus taxes and fees. Unliminted calling between plan phones. So if you have a family member that you call a bunch, it might be a good idea to get other family members on board. We are planning to do that with my dad. Bump the minutes up and he pays the difference, but calls between us are free.

We thought it was a good deal.

I'm looking for a new cell phone plan soon, so I've been looking at Disney Mobile. I was thinking about getting the individual plan, but if my mom decides that she needs a new cell phone I might go in with her and maybe my sister, it'd probably just be me though. I actually don't think the prices are that bad. I usually get the 39.99 plan with about 400 minutes. The only difference between Disney Mobile and Sprint for that particular plan is that nights begin at 7pm now for Sprint and Disney's at 9.

They are pushing it for families, but they also offer individual plans, I would say it's suitable for anyone. Just check around, and if this seems like the best for you then I say go ahead and get it.
