Disney Merriest Nites, an All-New After-Hours Event at Disneyland Park

The parties still offer me nothing, it's all photo ops. While my wife and I love Disneyland castle photos or photos in front of Small World holiday, we've never cared about characters or cardboard cutouts.

I live close by, Christmas at Disneyland is our favorite time, we should be the prime audience for this! Yet we can't be bothered to care.

The Buzz Lightyear thing is just sad in many ways.

Can people stop being so congratulatory about muppets? I like them and all but it seems like everyone applauds any time Disney does anything with the muppets, regardless of execution.

We understand they own the muppets and all by this point. But name one good thing that has come from the Muppets since the Disney purchase.

Thus far every "Disney After Dark" event is all photo ops and characters.

But guess what, they sell out. Even at these prices. I literally don't understand it at all. I'm sure the Blue Bayou "experience" sold out too.

Disney somehow provides worse customer service / customer value yet makes more money.

Love that so much!
Clearly that is the one Must See during the event, unless you're into photo ops. If I was coming back another day, I don't think I'd bother staking out a spot for the parade, but I would position myself early near where they close off main street, to get a close and centered view of this show.
