I once stated that in "American Warewolf in London" there is a Mickey mouse and a Donald Duck in the scene where the star turns into the Warewolf (complete transformation). Well while I was on the Disney Wonder this week; I was watching Oceans 12, and Andy Garcia breaks up a wedding rehearsal dinner and mentions that the bride will not be able to go on that luxury honeymoon to Epcot. Any other disney shout outs in other films???

What about Malcolm's line in Jurassic Park?

But when The Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourists.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of Disney references in movies, not to mention television.

Theres also another thread on this, from not too long ago.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure when they are studying Abe lincoln and they can't think of anything he did. Ted:Oh yeah remember Disneyworld, the hall of presidents? Bill: "oh yeah what did he say?" (Ted gets up with one hand out) and says:"welcome to the hall of presidents" Another one from the same film is when they go to the old west to get Billy the Kid and Bill tells Ted that they are in the old west and Ted says: Like fronteirland. If not exact quotes of this movie it is something very similar.

Also in "In The Army now Pauly Shaur mentions Pirates of the carribean when they are in the war prison. He says something like. "?now all we need is that dog with the keys and a bone"

I have one that is really a quetion. In the Wizard of Oz Dorthy says "Jimminy Crickets" at one point when she is surprised.

So I have really two questions.

1) Did Pinnochio come out before the Wizard of Oz?

2) Was the term Jimminy Crickets, something that people use to use and Pinnochio's Jimminy was named from that or did the term come from his name?

In the movie "That Thing you do!" The guy who joins the military goes on the matterhorn and is seen with Mickey for a brief minute.

Also since somebody brought up the reference to the funniest Disney/Simpson episode I do have to say my fave 2 scenes is when Bart and Homer come out of "Honey I squirted Goo on the Audience" And Homer's big Musical number during the credits.

Awww shucks why not one more good scene...Homer going to the magic kingdom
Mickey like voice: "step away from the wall"
Homer: Ohhh it's sooo beautiful!"
Homer: "One churro please."
Charles Bronsan voice:"That'll be fourteen dollars!"
Homer: "Noooooohhoohoohhhooooo ahhh HERE!"

in School of Rock, when Jack Black has the kids at the talent show, one of the musicians walks by and says something along the lines of I DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS THE MICKEY MOUSE CLUB...

Another in The Simpsons is when they visit Sideshow Bob in prision and Marge says something about this not being a great place to bring the kids. Lisa then replies with 'it still beats Disney's California Adventure' to which the family all agree!

I've seen quite a few on Family Guy:

-Brian repremands two dogs for having a romantic dinner of spagghetti (Lady and the Tramp)

- Peter, after losing money, sings "I Need a Jew" the melody simmilar to "When You Wish Upon a Star"

- Michael Eisener and his money obsession are mentioned many times

- A snip shows Mr. Disney forcing a Mouse (Minnie) to take her clothes off while he draws her

Then there is Spongebob:

- Spongebob daydreams of riding a seahorse, in the dream he has beautiful red hair (Ariel)

and American Dad:

- While fishing, the men seem to get quite a catch (a little mermaid...)

I'll post more when I remember more...
