Think of my wallet. My kids have already been kicked out of buffets:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: and no I'm not kidding about that:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Wow, I didn't know that could even happen in real life!

Either. It’ll be interesting to watch but Disney might have jumped the gun here based on how many have mentioned cancelling their trips
Disney knows how much they are going to lose.

They had to conclude public perception was more important than revenue.

They will now lose even more business to universal.

More business going to Universal is wishful thinking not when WDW is gearing up for their 50th anniversary.

The loss will be miniscule.

They will adjust the guidance as the numbers go down, just like their statement says. They can change at anytime. The quicker Florida gets their numbers down, the quicker masks can go away again.

Or more accommodating to the guest experience depending on how you look at all of this
This is not about accommodating guests, this is a public health crisis in central Florida right now. Obsessively whining about wearing a mask while visiting is about the most selfish thing I can imagine anyone worrying about right now. The hospitalization rate in central Florida is the worst it's been since this whole insanity started over a year ago. Those are hard facts and the rest of this is just whining ridiculousness. This is now about saving lives, not you being comfortable on your vacation.

Hard to feel secure booking a trip if they are changing guidance once a month.

They want you to plan months in advance.

And as long as conditions on the ground keep changing, the guidance should keep changing to adapt to that. If you unable or unwilling to deal with that it might be a good year to choose an alternative place to spend your vacation dollars and time.

I agree but if public health and covid transmission is the number one concern then why only mask indoors?
