You're right. Not even Biden deserves the credit for this (and he has never tried) but you are never going to convince people like tpac24. They are completely blinded by their ignorance and happy to stay there convinced in their own superiority. Add them to your ignore list and all the ignorance just washes away. :)

See?

Superiority you say??? Pot meet kettle!! Interesting how you assumed all of that about me based on my comment to your passive aggressive political jab. I know for the moment you have me blocked but I am confident some how you will get this message.

Your underwear stops somethings, otherwise it wouldn’t smell at the end of the day and you wouldn’t need to wash it.

It’s amazing how we still can’t understand that just because something doesn’t entirely block something doesn’t mean it’s useless. Partially blocking things is very useful.
Yes like body fluids. I am not sure it is the same for particles so small that if you combined all the worlds covid particles together they could fit inside a soda can!

Covid travels in fluid bubbles called droplets for the most part. While it has been proven that Covid can be spread by smaller particles, it’s mostly transmitted by droplets. Droplets are significantly reduced and trapped by masks as you can prove by touching the inside surface of a mask after you wear one for a while, it’s wet, and no it’s not sweat that made the mask moist.

I have never had a wet mask not even when wearing one all day in Disney which is honestly the only place I wear one for long periods of time.

I’m going to stop hitting my head against a brick wall now. There is no way you’ve never had a moist mask at the end of the day in Florida. Everything is moist at the end of the day in Florida. You are arguing your exhaled breath has no humidity, and if that was true those of us in cold climates would never see our breath. The cloud of fog that occurs when breathing outside in the cold is caused by the flash condensation (water vapor turning to water) of our breath.

Been here for almost a week now and I'm shocked to observe that the biggest problem with masks is *not* comfort. We've had zero issues wearing masks all day, including kids 6 and 3.

The problem has been communication. In a lot of cases, you have a mask, a face shield, a plexiglass barrier, and another mask in between a cast-and-guest interaction. Combine that with a noisy environment and it's absolutely awful. Even not being able to read facial expressions has had a bigger impact on my experience than I thought it would. I miss good morning smiles and strangers laughing with my baby on the bus.

Then there's the rain. Oooooh the rain. A wet mask could rightly be described as torture.
The other thing... Walking around and snacking. I have to imagine that sales of popcorn, pretzels, and ice cream are way down because it's such a hassle to grab something and munch. We're usually big grazers who will buy one snack at a time very frequently and share it between the group, but it's just not worth the trouble.

I literally just got back and can tell you not one wet mask but hey if you think you know what you know.

Your underwear smells because it collects sweat, skin particles and other substances which then lead to bacterial growth and causes odors. That and odors directly emanating from those substances. It isn't filtering some of the scent of flatulence and locking it in.

I wonder, next time you have a surgery if any of you antimask people will demand no one wears a mask in your OR, after all they are uncomfortable, make communicating harder and don’t stop anything. Why in the world would surgeons wear a mask. It must surely be an unfounded custom at this point to prove their superiority 🙄.

Do it, I dare you.

No
Back on topic, has Uni or other theme parks decided when they may make similar moves? It may be something that dictates how fast Disney fully removes their policy. If Uni makes a move to fully remove the mask mandates in their parks then maybe Disney will too out of fear of losing more dollars to parks that do not require them.
Dollywood just announced that masks won't be required in outdoor areas where unsocial distancing is possible

I don't know how any of this became anti mask?? Seriously that is a huge reach!

If this pretend surgery is outside than sure why not drop the mask and it take in some fresh air. Besides I will asleep be so how will I know if they kept their mask on or off ;)

Problem being that as capacity numbers rise then distancing outside is harder to achieve. Reversing a mask policy is going to be harder to do. But 🤞 it works at Dollywood.

No you just think they are pointless and do nothing and mask mandates should be ended.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck well...

Completely agree with you. We are totally pro-masking and had no trouble wearing them all day. The kiddos are used to it from school. That said, we realized we weren’t really spending quality time together because we weren’t chatting in line or while walking. It’s just annoying trying to hear each other. And forget about talking to CMs. Can’t hear anything they are saying. We also didn’t buy our usual popcorn and ice cream. I can’t wait for this thing to be over. Over. It.

There we go assuming again. I never said any of that about mask indoors. The data shows it is not necessary outside following that does not make me anti mask but keep pretending to know all these things about me you seem to enjoy it.
