There are cabins being built along the beach and “elevated” tree houses (third-story living areas) going in just behind those. They’d have to transplant some tall trees to block their view.I agree, but I hope they invest heavily in dense landscape between the hotel and Settlement area. Not crossing my fingers though
Lazy River Country? They've got to call the pool River Country! Perfect opportunity for a tribute!
That could confuse guests and make some recall Disney's version of an old fashioned swimming hole. Better to call them, "Lazy River", "Splash Pad" and "Swimming Pool".Lazy River Country?

Added to which there was much scepticism about whether the lazy river would actually materialise. The fact they’ve included it again suggests it might just happen.Yeah it was in Lakeside, and remains in Lakeshore. My concern is who's going to fill all these rooms when they can't fill the rooms they have now?How much is this going to ruin fort wilderness

The pool area will attract guests, probably at the expense of the Contemporary and other resorts. The DVC part will take care of itself, at least the declared rooms. Unless they screw up and lump it in with the cabins - in which case the maintenance fees will mean it won’t sell.My concern is who's going to fill all these rooms when they can't fill the rooms they have now?
Last quarter, occupancy was 85%. Which, in the hotel business, is more like 95% full.My concern is who's going to fill all these rooms when they can't fill the rooms they have now?
Max occupancy was 89/90% in 2019 which was peak. Just for comparison sake.Last quarter, occupancy was 85%. Which, in the hotel business, is more like 95% full.
