I just read a few reviews of this show on other sites. I'll summarize them:

"The Citizen Kane of kite shows."

In all seriousness though, I am looking forward to it with my kids. I'm also hoping to score a free lifetime pass when one of these things comes in for a meet and greet.

So you want something more like Harmonious, then. Anything less is not “Disney”. Got it.

Might as well fire the Dapper Dans, Casey’s Corner piano player, acrobats in China, drummers in Japan, etc. Because unless it’s a multi gazillion dollar spectacle with a Stargate, tacos, and arms flailing about, it’s not Disney.

Thanks for completely missing the point.

I don't recall those having accidents and ending up in trees, falling over in the water, etc. just in the first 2 days

I love this review! I think it's so great that people are enjoying this show just for what it is. Never meant to be a huge production.

My thoughts exactly. Not every show has to have a high production value to be enjoyable. Guys on jet skis having fun flying kites over water? Count me in. Be honest. What if that were you. You would be having the time of your life.

Um, it’s a kite show. Not AAs that do the same thing every time. Kites end up in trees. Professional jet skiers, wearing life jackets BTW, fall out of their jet skis. Oh the horror! I think that is part of the appeal. You never know what will happen at any show.

I jut watched the video of KITE TAILS and I appreciate what Disney performers are doing, I am underwhelmed. It is not a show that you would schedule during your day at AK, more of "if its happening, I might watch it as I walk by!"

This looks pretty bad, and I actually thought the idea was excellent.

Landing the kites is extremely bad show. The fact that Disney is ok with that and the tacos being out in world showcase everyday really shows how far the Disney standards have fallen.

I don't get why they couldn't have the jet skis bring the kites in already in the air, and exit the same way. Admittedly I have no clue what the physical layout of that lagoon and the waterways it's connected to are. Maybe they had no choice?

This. 100%
They’re freaking kites. How do you want them to switch out kites? Do you want them to waste time reeling them in, attach a new one, and reel it back out? I suppose you’re upset with the kite laying flat in the other dock waiting to be picked up and flown
Ahh, well that explains it. Maybe they can incorporate the kites going down into the show. I think someone jokingly said they should put targets out. Maybe that's not such a bad idea, haha.
They already have. The kites go down in the Asia area. Those watching in person get it. Will the kites stick the landing? If so, cheers.

Because, those are kites, not actual animals flying out of the sky and crashing. It’s not a “bad show” but part of the show.
